Rent is calculated using the Differential Rent Scheme, and assessed each year via a Rent Assessment.
Differential Rent Scheme
This scheme calculates your rent according to your income. Each household’s rent is calculated as a percentage of the household income. A copy of how your rent is calculated is included with your offer of tenancy and at your pre-tenancy training course.
Each year between March and May, Foscadh Housing will forward a rent assessment form to each household to review and calculate all rent and income. This is assessed in accordance with our Differential Rent Scheme or the relevant Local Authority rent scheme.
