Foscadh Housing Association, an Approved Housing Body (AHB) dedicated to providing affordable housing for those in need, is actively seeking expressions of interest from our tenants to serve as a Tenant Representative on our Board of Trustees.

As a not-for-profit organisation committed to serving the community, Foscadh places great value on having tenant representation at the highest level of decision-making. The chosen representative will play a vital role in ensuring that the voices and concerns of our residents are heard and addressed effectively.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

1. Strong Community Engagement Skills: The ideal candidate should possess excellent community engagement skills, including the ability to listen to community members, seek their input, and effectively represent their interests within the Board.
2. Effective Advocacy: The Tenant Representative should be an adept advocate for the community, ensuring that Foscadh’s initiatives and policies align with the needs of the residents it serves.
3. Sensitivity to Diversity: A deep appreciation for diversity within the housing association is crucial. The representative should demonstrate sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds and needs of our tenants.
4. Commitment to Learning: The candidate should remain open to learning about emerging housing trends and best practices to contribute effectively to the Board’s discussions and decision-making processes.
